Medtronic is using a billing company called Monterey Financial and they are scammers. I am being charged a $15/month fee for something. I was told it was a late fee, even though some payments were not late. It is a processing fee. It is an application fee. I seem to get a different answer every time I call. Incase no one has told you , Medtronic is a company that relies on how much they can steal from you and your insurance company. This should come to no surprise due to the fact that most companies like Medtronic and their associates jack up actual prices so they can charge the insurance companies more money! I have been around and around with customer service about their mistake for going on 2 years... I finally just had to pay them off to get them off my back for billing the wrong insurance. I purchased a Minimed Connect using the Guest Checkout on 12/01/15. I had to cancel right after I bought it, so I called customer service and ask them to cancel it, spent 2 hours on the line. I have had my second Medtronic Interstem! They said it would work and the pain would go away. The leaking would go away. I had #2 installed 1 years ago. It has not been reprogrammed since it has been installed. Had problems with the doctor that put it in. The rep from Medtronics does not want to be involved in the situation. Ive dealt with back pain and spine conditions for 20+ years. I have multiple conditions, and have tried every option there is from physical therapy, steroid injections, medial beanch blocks and radio frequency ablation to name a few. I have used 5 medtronic pumps over 10 years, and not a single one has lasted warranty. Actually one did , but died a month after warranty. Not only are the pumps rubbish, their service is worse. It took me two years to get an insulin pump from them and another two years for them/insurance to pay it. Never mind every excuse they came up with to refrain from sending supplies.
