It all started back in 2014.......My son was put on a pump in 2013 and everything was going well with Medtronic until January 2014 when my doctor sent in new rxs for the new 530G pump and supplies. The order was placed early January and 2 weeks later I still had not heard from Medtronic on my order, meanwhile my son was running low on supplies. They advised me that they were waiting to hear back... Read more

If your doctor mentioned Medtronic find another doctor. They don't do anything they say they will do. Read more

My 3 year old started on the 530G but they wouldn't let us start the CGM portion until the 30 day "return" period was almost up. Once we started it, we realized the pump would not work for someone who has a parent manage their diabetes. We couldn't hear the low BG alarm at night or in her classroom which resulted in extremely dangerous low BG. When we asked to return it, it was denied without... Read more

I haven't had any major issues with the minimed pump. The people are nice to talk with, but they lie. Shortly after I got the pump my employer changed insurance companies. I told medtronic and they said they would check with insurance and let me know before they sent me any supplies. WRONG. I got an email from UPS that medtronic had sent me a package, and then a few days later another... Read more

The easiest part was the purchase. Once they had us with a signed contract, they disappeared. We received supplies for 3 months, but nobody made contact for 2.5 weeks. They only called after I complained. The MD who said it was the best suddenly had nothing to do with the pump. We have had the pump replaced 3 times, the alarm didn't go off and when my son tested before dinner he was 437! They... Read more
