The 630G belt clip pin falls out. They should make the screen to read upside down like a apple product.

If you wear on belt and try to look down to read it is upside down. You must unclip from belt every time and the belt clip keeps failing. Two have failed already and when I called they are on BACK ORDER.

If they had a holster for this pump that might help but the new belt clip is junk. When they sold this pump they said it was there best but I guess they never wore it in service and tried to use clipped on belt as then they would have noticed the new screen can not be read since it is upside down.

Review about: Medtronic Minimed Insulin Pump.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $7000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: New product braking with parts on back order.

I just bought a replacement belt clip, and the pin fell out within 8 days. This is junk.

Medtronic should fix this problem and replace everyone's for free. Not thrilled with the 630 G pump, either. Too many buttons to push, can't read it without removing it from the belt, and generally not as good as the model it replaces.

I'm considering putting it in the drawer and using my older model, which is much more user-friendly. Hope their pacemakers and other implantable devices are better quality, as this one is going to be detrimental to Medtronic's reputation.
